Can't link through to other entities from Email Message

When setting up the (global) email template I can get the Process Entity fields to appear (i.e. {entityname} {entitydate} etc

However when trying to link through to other entities i.e. {accountid.name} does not appear - no error message or similar.

Do I need to register account as related to the email somehow?

Never mind
I'd assumed the Process entity was the root, but its the Record Context URL (hint was in the name).
